"Seeking Converts For Jesus Christ!"
Who Is Worthy, O Lord?
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. Amen!
(It Is Time To Be Shaken!)
When your heart becomes convicted of your sins against the Lord Jesus Christ; and, you are certain that the Wrath of God abides upon you, you will ask the Lord what must you do to be saved from the Wrath of God! Convicted means you have accepted your guilt for the crime you have been charged with. When you realize that you have a death sentence standing over you; you will cry out to the Lord to spare you!
What does it mean about the publican smiting his chest, and saying, "O God, have mercy upon a sinner like me!" He heard the Word; and, he realized that he was under condemnation from God. Smiting his chest symbolizes being convicted in the heart!
Does not your heart pound when you are made afraid? This fear is in the mind of man because of the sense of danger! This man was convinced that God was going to kill him; and, torment him for all eternity! You will desire to know what you must do to be saved from the Wrath of God that abides over you! You are found to be desiring to be delivered out of the Hands of the Angry God! You heard what was being said to you; and, because you believed His Judgment against you: you will call upon Him for forgiveness! But, you will also realize exactly what it is that He has against you! Then, by the mouth of the preachers whom He has ordained, He will tell you what you must do to be saved from His Wrath! Amen!
